Joey’s Tavern Las Vegas

I am sad I forgot about this place, because I love it, I’ve been missing out all this time. If you haven’t been here in awhile, you really should stop by and check out this Joey’s Tavern Las Vegas. Couple of things that you notice right away. It is very roomy, lots of space. Its possible they expanded since I was here last because they have a huge pool table and darts area. Its nice to be able to play pool without people constantly bumping into you walking back and forth from the bathroom all night long. Also the tables look brand new. In fact the entire place looks brand new.

Tavern Pro’s and Con’s

One of the main things I liked was the beer selection, they keep it  interesting with new additions and limited editions that pop up on the menu. All of the tables and bar seats are very comfortable, The lighting is very smartly done as well. Bright enough to see what you’re doing where you need to but dark enough to stay relaxed and at ease. I don’t normally like places with real high ceilings but at this place it works nice. Especially since over the bar they have a faux decorative roof that gives you that cozy feel just still open and airy. Pretty smart if you ask me.
The food was pretty good, while I didn’t try everything on the menu,
I did try a couple of items ad while they weren’t anything to brag about, they were still better than most of the bar food around Las Vegas, so you have to hand it to them there, they at least take the food serious and try to make it as good as they can, they just don’t have anything “stellar.” That would be my only advice for this place. You need to have something that is “shareable” or PR worthy.

One or two over the top menu items give people a reason to talk about your place on social media. I guess if I didn’t come here specifically to write this review, I would have no specific reason mention this place to my circle of friends whether it be on social media or standing around the water cooler.
The staff was great, I mean my drink was never more than half empty, it seemed every time I took a sip, there was the waitress with a refill. Then later brought an entire new ice tea, just in case mine was “watered down” – Excellent service in this place that is for sure. Joey’s Tavern Las Vegas.
